Scammed with their road assistance
Rented a car in Alamo Dublin Airport and paid for the road assistant insurance.
We ended up having a flat tire, and the car did not have a spare one! So we call the road assistance number and they say they will send someone to replace the tire. Instead they sent a car trailer who asks us where to leave our car. We had to call the road assistance number again, and they said that we should find someone to change the tire by our own, and they would pay back the cost later. We ended up paying 250 euros for a new tire for the car. At the end, they only refund us the initial ~60 euros we paid for the road assistance, but we are still owe the remaining amount.
A total scam!, they convince you to pay for their insurance, but then they don’t want to cover the expenses…
