Wifi aerial required, be aware!

I wasn’t made aware that a wifi aerial would be required to use Apple CarPlay. My 4 Series F36 does not connect until I manually add the BMW wifi signal to my iPhone, this is a process that I have to repeat each and every time I jump in the car. Music and calls dropout too. This is no fault of the software but people should be made aware of this BEFORE purchasing. I explained this to the staff here but got told to get am aerial and enjoy! This is way beyond your average punter and will require a professional to install at your own cost. They wouldn’t even consider a refund, I found them rude, arrogant and unhelpful. Many disagree and applaud their service, like most things you only find out about a company when things don’t work out!
