Fix Your Rubbish Refund Process
I used Deliveroo for a very long time but today ended my use of the service.
The reason is that I like the food from a particular place but recently they’ve been making small mistakes with my order and items have been missing. So I have had to make repeated refund requests (only to the value of around £1 or 2).
Instead of Deliveroo even remotely attempting to contact the business to inform them of these small mistakes or considering the context of the situation, they now punish myself by refusing my refund requests.
I contacted support via live chat and email, and they wouldn’t give me any information on why and were completely useless in addressing my concerns.
It’s not a lot of money, but the onus isn’t on me to take on the burden of my order being incorrect, so I’m done with them.
