Great to hear our team looked after you, our showers were hot and you liked our location Anne Marie 😊.
We’ve been in the camping game for 21 years and tried every pitching option possible! Our main priority is to keep you safe and that means ensuring that sleeping units are 5M apart (fire regulations) – typically tent/car/tent/car in a circle. Even with our policy of taking each arrival to their pitch, explaining this, often even pacing out 5M, many campers choose to ignore us and do their own thing. Just letting people find their way through 35 acres to their friends means they misunderstand directions, get lost, drive too fast, get stuck let alone pitch their tent in the right place! Hope that clarifies why we do what we do?
As for keeping the blocks clean during awful weather, it’s a balance between managing queues due to closing units for cleaning and keeping customers happy in wet weather when no one wants to queue! It only takes one inconsiderate person and a clean toilet/shower is trashed.
