ThriftBooks helped me get a promotion – no joke! I’m always pleased with the variety of books in ThriftBooks, and the prices just cannot be beat. I wanted to explore business focused books, but I didn’t want to spend a lot of money since I wasn’t convinced that they would be beneficial. I started purchasing books about being a better manager, creating teams, and the psychology of sales and customer service. I began using what I was learning, and I started hearing from other managers that my team seemed more confident in themselves. I used what I learned to apply for a new job, and upgraded my salary twice as much as before. If it wasn’t for a site like ThriftBooks, I wouldn’t have the belief in myself and my management skills that I do.
